when you park, u can move it up out of the way to get out

and when you part you can put a lock on it so it cant be driven

the reason 2 reason why i went this way was a few years back my buddy's scramblers got stolen and was found down the street in a wall......... instead always removing the wheel when ever i park cause i would have to have the wheel with me all the time lol

heres a prime reason why for the tiltup steering wheel

Very cool idea to combat theft, added to my shopping list!

just an fyi the adapter was $110 and the tilt part was $170 so there $280 without a steering wheel, and the one I'm looking at its around $240 or $100 just don't know which one yet..... so total its around $520 or $380..... well worth it for me cause spending almost around 15G's

the other jeep took us about a year and a half to build, down the drain in a few sec............. when he called me and told me i just felt like some kicked me in my nuts......

The Grant unit I have is now discontinued, so this is a great new option to know.

Nice talking with you tonight, good luck with firing it up.

who makes that steering wheel adapter?

bigwalton thanks for taking the time and chatting with me last night, i just wanted to make sure i had all my ducks in a row when it comes down to fire it up...........

who makes that steering wheel adapter?

here's the link...... https://www.getnrg.com/products/quick-release/quick-tilt-system
i got it from a tuner shop right around the corner from my house really cheap, i wanted to go with a quick release but i didn't want to lug the steering wheel around with me when ever i used my jeep so this was the next best thing i found, ALOT more money but i but i don't mind paying for thing i like

Thanks! I just wish there was a setup like this that worked with stock steering wheels. I like my steering wheel.

ok i had to do it,............. once i saw it, held it in my hands i fell in love with it  :D

what you guys think?????

Looks cool, but do you have an idea how much further that sticks out from the end of the column than a stock or normal aftermarket setup would? Kinda looks like it's an awful long way out there towards your belly. Have to go look at my Grant setup now...

Also, how far can you steer it with the wheel tilted? Looks like it would go the best part of the way around before it hit your legs, or does it hit something else?

Amazing build and your attention to detail is unreal. I feel like a wimp on my build compared to the fabrication you have put into this. Can't wait for the next segment. I will be following
