One of the cleanest "Eagles" I've seen in a long time. Friend found it in Illinois.

I love those wheels !!!!

OOOPS! :banghead: I'm sure there was a good story that went with this Parking job. "But Honey, you said I could buy ALL the Jeeps I wanted as long as they ALL fit in the gagage"

^^ They said with 4.88 gears, I'd be able to crawl over a house...!

^^ Nice! A friend of a friend just picked up one of these with a 327 SBC conversion. He mounted a winch in the bed to haul his Harley Davidson aboard, and tows the whole setup behind his motor-home... that guy has all his bases covered! ;)

The scrambler got some new shoes and socks.
Picked up some original white 15x8 wagons.

Got them cleaned up, blasted, powder coated and re-stripped.
Wrapped them in some Goodyear Kevlars.

Very nice... love the look.
It is hard to tell in the pics, but are those the upgraded hubs so you can't run the front center caps?

If you don't mind, how much does the process of cleaning/blasting/powdercoating go for down there, just curious to see how it compares to up here.

I see OEM front hubs with what is left of a OEM jeep sticker...so what I am thinking is he is just running wheel spacers on his 81 Narrow tracks?? :bacon:

Looks great, the new wheels/tires, as well as the rest of 8.

I may have asked before.... what do you have for your windshield wiper setup and how do you like it, any issues?

Yeah they are the OEM front hubs and I'm running spacers on the narrow tracks to get closer to the wide tracks. This is until I can swap the wagoner axles under the jeep and put on the 6-lug chrome wagon wheels that I am getting from jersey. And yeah can't run the front center caps with the spacers.

Similar to what your paying I believe.
Cleaned, blasted and powdercoated for $75 per wheel.
Striping was $100 for 4 wheels.

Always enjoy seeing fresh pics of your great looking Scrambler - really like the direction you went w/ it and keeping the original paint.

Job well done Sir!

Thanks. I like the change the white wagon wheels made. I really need to get onto cleaning up the paint. A light polish and touch up some of the bare spots where the paint has worn through.

Looks awesome. Love the preserved patina.

My bad, they looked like 5 bolt hubs, the aftermarket ones that WARN makes.
