Picked up a jeep yesterday with a 5 cylinder John Deere diesel. It's a TJ though.......can I break the rules and post a picture?
 
My wife's aunt and uncle went to the Mecum auction in Pensylvania the other day and found this crazy Scrambler! It's really cool and what a great idea! Hold on to your purist hats folks...

He was at the PA Jeeps show. He told me he put it in there with no reserve. Do you know what it went for? He wanted $25K

I gotta say, it probably smells nice in that drivers seat.

I don't think I'd be the only one who reckons that deserves its own thread! Can't wait to see that.
 
Nice guy. I stopped and talked to him at the PA Jeep show as well. Very interesting project and there was definitely a high level of attention paid to the woodworking detail.

The is an "non scrambler builds" thread it could be started there, that is where I have my CJ 6 thread.
