Anyone near Palmdale ? willing to pay for your time, meals, expenses :)

How long can you wait? ;)

It's the time meals and expenses part that caught my interest :D

Ill do it, just packing my suitcase now..... make sure you book me first class on the plane mind :D

I'm betting it's Jeep related. That or a really rare IPA....

Thanks to all who have offered to help. Once again, this forum is just so great in so many ways. 05unlimited has offered to help me get the deal done out there  When it's official, I'll post back up.

The 1980 CJ5 Renegade has landed - At 05unlimteds house !! :)

I can't thank Jeff enough for what he did for me, he was the middle man for a seller who would only take cash and would barely sell the jeep to me in the first place. "You're from jersey - say what ????? "

I worked this guy hard sending him pics of my yellow 7 and etc and fending off other people but he still wouldn't take a wire transfer and at the last witching hour I was able to convince him to accept at least a deposit personal check instead of sending hundred dollar bills in the mail

The nervous wait continued with this seller .. You just never know... and he wouldnt send me pics of the title, part of the title, his drivers license, his middle finger..nothing!

Jeff picked it up for me Saturday about 25 mins from his house. Conveniently it has a tow bar setup already attached.

It's gonna hang out there till I can make a road trip outta this one, its ready with lots of extra fuel capacity and a 304v8 for climbing the continental divide. I want to go out there. But in cooler temps. So it may get shipped first as well. Thanks again Jeff !!!
