Cool . i use that also to sand blast the heads and paint them without getting the threads messed up..

Or... You could do what the PO did to mine. Put it all together and then paint all of it indiscriminately... bolts, nuts, threads, torx heads (just in case those weren't fun enough already).

I almost repsonded to a conversation others were having about getting the torx out of the rear axle. I've got a very small leak there (1-2 drops every couple of days) that may be there forever. The whole thing (including the exposed gasket) was sprayed with POR 15. :banghead

Seriously though, I like the cardboard idea. Way easier than 100 sandwich bags, and you can count easily too.

I swear I learn something new every day on this board.

You must have been reading my thread!!

And agreed. I love that idea of using the board.

Thanks for the comments!

Unfortunately the colder weather and hunting season have slowed this project down a bit.

Also the fact I dragged another jeep project home isn't helping either. [emoji41]

It's not everyday you find a rust free Cali jeep sitting around in va. [emoji2]

Great work! Sub'd so I can remember that paint color. Leaning towards it for my '82

Took advantage of the warm weather and got the rest of the parts painted

Looking good. Now the fun part, piecing it together. Think you'll have her done by spring?
