I've not heard anything yet on those two,They are usally around the first two weeks of July.If your up for a trip out east there will be a 3 day ride at Windrock in east Tenn around the last of april/first of May.I'll try to get the dates in the next week and post them-We are also trying to get some dates and a location set up for a National Scrambler Event, maybe in June-JC
Fall trail ride at Oakridge, Va. (this is not official, but it's been the first weekend in Oct., so)....Oct. 1-3, 2004 and the Dixie Run at Telico is usually the same weekend.
I'll go both ways if I know early enough to get it on the schedule, and there are not too many events at one time. Have truck, camper, and trailer will travel!
Just a FYI. All 4 Fun will be in Georgetown Co. the first week of August 1 thru 7. This could have a impact on the Central Scramble or if you ever wanted to go you could plan some scrambler time during the event.
Hey Wyoming are you going to be up in Georgetown for that event?? If so I will try and make a run of it and see ya there. along with the Central Colorado Scramble if you make that one too?
Yes I will be at All 4 Fun and will try to make the scramble. I will be in Alaska the two weeks before. I will be driving back and go straight to All 4 Fun. This will kill my vacation time.
Alaska...... Sounds like a great vacation. Need a baggage carrier or Sherpa to come along..... No really hope you have a really nice vacation. Other then hunting I haven't enjoyed one of those in years! Hunting as vacation now I have said everything.......
I was thinking of you a couple of weeks ago while I was up in Cheyenne for a family get together over off Story Ave. Just didn't have time to look anyone up. Kind of a hit and run trip.
So far all I have is some venison for the BBQ but with luck I will still be adding some Elk to the menu for a grill treat when I see you up in Georgetown.. We can talk about what to wet our throats with once we get up there.
Where do we find out more information on the All 4 Fun event?
We had it in July in Idaho Springs,Colorado this year,it was headed up by Dan Cole and I haven't talked to him in a the last month to see if he's going to do it again,We had it the weekend after the San Jaun Scramble, had a nice turn out with 15 Scramblers, not bad for the first time,We also had 15 here in Tennesse for the May event with Southerns Spring Dixie Run at Windrock just outside of Oliver Springs Tn.I'll try to get the date for the Tennessee event post pretty quick, work's been busy i had forgot about.-JC
The 2004 Rubicon Scramble is scheduled for the last weekend in
August. Email me at mbrink@astound.net if interested. A well built rig and a willingness to take a dent is a must.
The dates this next year (2004) for the Oak Ridge, VA, event are going to be a week earlier. The dates are going to be September 24-26. Sunday the 26th is a clean-up and go home day. The rides are Friday and Saturday. Doorprizes and meal are on Saturday night.
So the real hardcore can get warmed up here and go to Telico the next weekend for the Dixie Run, that sounds like a pretty good vacation. Right RJ?
