Introducing Project Diesel Lander. Follow along as we build a fully optioned 2021 JLUR Diesel into our cross country capable offroad escape vehicle.

First step, trade our 2014 JKURx on 40’s and tons, right jeep, for a 2021 JLUR on 37”, left jeep

Next, travel 8 hours home... we drove jeep during trip home and immediately could enjoy the torque of the diesel in the mountains. During the night we put on trailer to ride together.

A little cleaning, paint sealer and parts ordering... might be a slow build as some parts are 1-2 months back ordered...

I have not been keeping up on the new Jeeps. Are the removable rearmost windows a new option?

Sky roof. Fixed roof, sliding top like the old VW Buses. Side windows are removable.

Sky one touch is twill fabric and folds back with electric motor with push button open/close. The rear most side window can be removed like photo. Technically the roof can be removed but not recommend because re alignment of rails.

Floor mats and door sills... the floor mat has a drain plug that aligns to the tub drain

Reusing Rigid Industries Side Shooter with new cowl mount. On one of my last night trips in Moab I had nice bumper lights pointing to the sky. I mounted these so I can see next to jeep.

Foam tubing keeps debris out of gap between body and fender flare.

Spider Shade is a great product, I have used on several Jeeps.

I assumed that, just curious as to if, for your application, any mods were required. Seems like it was a direct fit, which is nice.
