And it wasn't even us bunch. He had to compete with the whole eBay world. Good Job Brooklyn I hope your Saturday was busy eBay searching cause you were sick (cough cough) vs outside doing outdoor things :rotfl:

From the Ebay listing: "This auction is for a pair of aftermarket CJ8 bumper end caps. This is the correct left and right versions. I have also listed a couple of OEM end caps and these look exactly like the originals. I bought these years ago and don't remember what brand. They have been sitting on the shelf in my garage for years and have faded a little and have minor scuffs on one of them. I would recommend painting them to correct the fading."

I never knew end caps were reproduced by any company. Is this correct?? I wonder what company and if they are still in business?

Here is another End Cap auction that went low IMO: http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Jeep-CJ...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Used Jeep Scrambler CJ-8 OEM rear bumper end caps. Fits original Scrambler and some J-10 rear bumpers only. Driver side is complete, unbroken and very usable. Passenger side is cracked on topside and one mounting bolt is loose. You decide if it is usable. Plastic is 30+ years old and not cleaned since being removed. Questions are welcome and will be answered ASAP. Ships via USPS. Sold as-is.

SOLD: $46.00

Those above are not repros. I have no idea what the seller meant, just seller error I guess. Brooklyn should be filling us in. [emoji6]

Those sure did at 46 bucks. Those are from same seller as the 20k white SL restorer just discussed on here a few days ago. Those musta been his originals :)

I was looking at those also and to me they look like used caps. But he said aftermarket and wondered also who was making them. The pictures where fuzzy so cant be sure.

I guess a 1992 YJ Renegade with a carbureted "corvette" 350 would be worth 15k now? Lol
