Epic fails

Probably going to offset mount the sway bar forward 1/4" to get clearance without screwing up the link angles at the a-arms.

You better move it farther than that. If this car is used or driven like Bullet on the streets of SF

Was it brought in for this reason, or did you guys just happen upon it? Glad it made it in before he had a big paperweight.

VERY nice and built really well actually which is a rarity for us to see. Typically most hot rods have nice paint but mechanically they are trash. I'm not a Ford guy but I would own this one-

I owned a 1965 Mustang convertible, 289 Hi/Po 4-speed , we restored it, drove ithe wheels off it for 2 years and in 1973 traded it even up for a pair of Goodyear Terra Tires mounted on 16x15 slotted steel wheels. Needles to say, I still have the tires and the wheels have new Terras on them and we use them on my '73 CJ-5 "MrBeep" still today. :banghead:

Two fails in two days. This one is a rocker arm trunion failure in a LS1. THIS is why I tell you guys to install the trunion update kit or replace all of the rockers with complete units-

how funny, I did the same thing to some Lowe's T50's yesterday... they weren't impact ones though, I didn't even know those existed.

20 years ago I broke at least 12 craftsmen torx bits trying to get my rollbar out. .....I never did. After returning so many a lady there said the black part is not warrantied, only the silver part, so I went to 2 others Seats near me and never had that problem again.

Ask to see a manager and the written warranty information, they will swap it out so fast, your head will spin.
They try to take as few returns as possible, but are required to take all, especially if someone complains.
They had that big push a while ago for the "evolve" series, which apparently aren't hardened, but they never really explained it.
Now they don't carry "singles" in that, so you have to return the whole set to get a new set, and most of the time they don't have the set so they have to order it.

It has unfortunately gone a bit downhill from the days of walking in, swapping it out and leaving.
Now they will want a phone number, zip code, try to upsell you a credit card to sears, show you a receipt a mile long that has an entry for free this or that if you go to the website.

Meanwhile, a line of very mad people form behind you because it takes so long.
