Fall Trail Ride at Oak Ridge, Va

Directions

Heyyy.. very confused here...
I tried to get directions on Map Quest.., found an Oak Ridge Road (county road 653) south of Lovingston (zip 22949) off SR-29/56, is that where it is???
Anybody have better directions???
I'll be going south on SR-29 off I-64 from Charlottsville...

Directions

Hi Ferran, 653 is correct.
Directions to Oak Ridge Estate from Richmond:
64 West to Charlottesville
29 South towards Lynchburg
Pass Lovingston, Va. on your left*
Pass Nelson County High School on your right
Left on 653 (Oak Ridge Estate / Shipman)
After 1/4 mile Rt. 668 goes off to the right. The STAGING AREA is at this intersection. (big statue of Atlas)
For CAMP SITE continue on Rt 653
653 will bear to the right about 1 mile from Rt. 29
Follow 653 across the railroad bridge (single lane bridge)
Take the SECOND right into the camp site

*Rt. 653 is approx. 3 to 3.5 miles pass Lovingston

I think I will "forget" this stuff so you better just bring it along: a pair of D60s, rust free frame and tub, 6.0L Vortec engine, BeCool radiator, 10K winch, new drive shafts, hummer beadlocks and 36" tires, and full roll cage. :D . You are the man! All we gotta do is ask? If I would have known that I would have "forgot" my stuff a long time ago. ;)

Truck

PS. Jerry seems to have "forgotten" his in Jeep DVD player, for passenger entertainment, so you better bring that along as well. (Or was the passenger supposed to be the entertainment) :p

Note the word "try" in there and no use of the word"free", so I'll work on that list.....:D, but I may need a longer trailer.

Well, after being towed home across town a week and a half ago, and replacing ignition module, ingition switch, turn signal switch and lock cylinder, I am up and running again as of yesterday. All set for Oak Ridge.

Then...

Last half hour of work today, about 11am, coming back to the shop to park the state truck, and I get the call. Human case of west nile virus in our county, prepare for overtime and lots of spraying tonight, tomorrow and the weekend for mosquitoes. No Oak ridge for me, just the state spray truck and the dark hours of night. :(

Have fun in them thar hills.

OH NOOOooooo!

Well if things work out I keep an eye out for you. I have been but in the over time myself so I understand.
