FC-170 Build

Now you can make the front axle drivers side drop for lots of driveshaft clearance next to that 4L60E. ;)
 
Under all of the pack rat mess, once the many pounds of organic matter was peeled off with a combination of power washer and a screw driver, the original hurricane 6 cylinder engine still turned over. Drained the oil, replaced it, replaced the plugs after spaying some lube in, replaced plug wires, had a buddy rig up a little circuit on a 12v battery, and worked on it a few times and got spark then ignition in the engine. Pretty fun getting that engine to fire for the first time since 1978.
 
The scrambler seems to finally be in good enough shape to not take all of my effort, and Big Walton and the Wahoo crew seem to have my wife open to the idea of some investment on the FC and potentially another project, so hopefully I make some progress on this thing this summer
