Inheritance Cherokee

Well got the tracbar replaced and the sway bar links too since the bushings were not there. Didn't cure it, but I can now make it to almost 70 before it goes into DW. More exploring to do tomorrow.

Check ball joints and check the alignment, a friend of mine about went crazy casing a wobble and it was the toe in that got it started. My wife's LJ would go into wobble at highway speeds when we touched the brakes, Check the front brake rotors and they were warped. Had them turned and hasn't done it again.

Yep, those are the next areas, looked at them but I was outside in the mud so wasn't able to really check them properly, got the basement garage stall cleaned out of all the yard and garden equipment last night so hopefully get a better look at it today.

Well, this could end up getting spendy... upper left ball joint has play, lower right ball joint has play, and left outer TRE has just a little play in it. Looks like I'm dipping into the guns and ammo funds to make this safe for the wife to drive around in till I get the Suburban back up and running...

And apparently when you fill the gas tank all the way it leaks, damn it, after just 15-20 minutes in the basement garage stall the entire house now smells of gas:angry:

You said this vehicle was free, right? Does not sound like it. Good luck getting it sorted out.

Well, got the wobble under control, replaced drivers side ball joints last night, still need to do the other side, but took it for a spin down the highway and no wobble up to 80ish, still wanders a bit though.

Beginning to sound more like an engine donor to me!!!

Exactly my thought!

Free kittens are never free.

Free things almost never stay that way long.

gonna end up keeping this one and slowly fixing it up back to great condition. I'm keeping the 8 the way it is, and the 440 will hold down the garage floor until I get around tp doing the rat rod project

Glad to hear it is getting better. That video was scary. And not just because of the cigarette.

Yeah, wasn't very exciting in person either, nor are the damn cigarettes, been slowly trying to kick that crap for better part of a decade, have came close a few times, just haven't been able to completely yet. One of these days

Not trying to promote it but my mother used Chantax not sure I spelled it right but she said it made a lot easier for her to quit the cigarettes.
