Jamboree #180

Top looks really good. Interesting on the fitting.

I need a Jamboree!

Thanks DeLuke. I am 85 miles East of Dallas in Tyler. I am looking forward to sunny and 75 this weekend. Its time like this that owning any jeep is a perk.

How does it run on the road? Is it noticeably noisier or looser than a CJ skin?

Beautiful Jamboree

I really like the TJ top on the CJ. I've been playing with our beloved Jeeps for almos 50 years now and the most important thing I've learned is, you can learn something new everyday when it comes to Jeeps. Keep up the great work and keep our sport alive.

Its the same. I was hoping it would be quieter because it is the heavier black diamond sailcloth material. As far a fitment, it is just a tight as the top on my 84. When I first put it on, it actually felt tighter.

Thanks MrBeep. Between my dad and my brothers we are a 8 jeep family ranging from a 43 Ford GPW, 52 Pickup, Commando, CJ7's, FSJ Cherokee and Grand Wagoneer. It is a great American History lesson, to bad Fiat has taken over and gave us the "Renegade"

HAARubicon - It's definitely topless Jeep weather in Texas starting Friday and lasting through the weekend!

I need a little help locating some glass for my Marchal GT850's, both are cracked. The chrome housings are in great shape. If anyone has any they wouldn't mind parting with it would cross another to do item of my list.

I have some good ones from ones taken apart and can get with you mid week. I also just got these in on a parts rig. Most all of the ones I have parts wise have the cat emblem gone but I think there is a guy still making them.

Also, my dad would be interested in some parts off of the Cherokee, particularly the brush guard and possibly the grill shell.

No problem. And the Brush guard is completely rusted at the bottom arms. I have some other muscle grilles this one I am going to keep in tact for now.. Another item that is probably better found local given the shipping ?

Jerseyjeeps came through for me and now we have two working oem fogs. It really made a big difference on the overall appearance of the front.

Those lenses were the same ones as shown on that old white Cherokee, and even both bulbs were still good. On a much better home now !

My dad and I did the whole poser thing this weekend and showed or Jeeps in a local indoor car show. It was fun parking next to 60 to 100 thousand dollar street rods. My dad ended up winning the Offroad category with his 83 Cherokee Laredo. It was a good time and they were both well received. Everyone has a Jeep story it seems. If you will notice, I wouldn't let them but the ropes up around the Jambo, I wanted people to really get close and look, its a Jeep thing.

I also took the liberty to create this Info sheet to show on the Jeep. I cleaned it up and photo shopped out the crease that runs thru the middle of the picture and added the photos to make it one large document. Everyone feel free to download it or I can send you the high rez if you want it.
