Very frustrating.... so you may recall Phoenix Engine screwed up my water pump, giving me driver input despite my clearly and repeatedly specifying passenger input. They sent me the parts to swap it out and I did so.
Now that it's running (and fun/ fast as hell....), I'm finding that the serpentine system is chewing up the belt😡. Not happy.
It looks like the middle idler sticks out about 1/8" too much. So I'm working on that before I drive out any further. Fark....
Radio silence from Randy at Phoenix Engines just to add to my annoyance.

Got the hard top installed over the past couple of weeks. My 82 didn't come with shoulder belts so back during the resto I added mounts to the roll bar following a post on here, which meant I needed to cut the holes in the hard top and figure out the mounting through those. I picked up aluminum spacers from McMaster and longer bolts and rubber washers from Ace. I also used a little rtv inside the hard top holes and in between the rubber washers and the top, just to help keep things in place and seal it up from water as much as possible.
