PayPal retired the setup we have been using for years to communicate between the forum software and PayPal so that membership upgrades were applied correctly. I **think** I have it fixed now, but there were definitely people who paid and didn't receive their upgrade. I'll try to go back on the PayPal side but I thought I'd post this as well.

If you have paid for an upgrade and not seen it applied, please let me know here or via DM and I can look into it and get it applied manually. Once you upgrade, you should see a banner under your name and have the other benefits. It would look like this with your upgraded membership type:

While I'm at it, this place runs entirely on these membership upgrades. The only reason the forum still exists to house all this awesome information is the generous support of our paid members. Please consider supporting the forum -- for less than the cost of a tank of gas per year -- if you find value in what our members have built. We don't cripple free accounts with a ton of ads to try to FORCE people to upgrade, we want people to WANT to upgrade.

See this page for the various membersip options: https://www.cj-8.com/account/upgrades

The more time passes, the less common these (already uncommon) rigs are going to be. With that, people familiar with CJ’s and parts are becoming harder to find as well. I’m just now really getting into them and this site is an encyclopedia of priceless knowledge and resources that I’ll need in the coming years.

I echo your sentiment of the price being just a drop in the bucket toward the value here for CJ-8 owners, so I’m glad to be a new silver member.

Thanks @bigwalton and anyone else in charge of keeping the doors open—and to the awesome community of enthusiasts here. I’m looking forward to the projects I’m gonna scrape my knuckles on thanks to all of you guys’ wisdom and postings.

I finally upgraded too and I also appreciate all the help and ideas over the years.
I purchased my Scrambler in 1992. Its primarily used for wheeling here in CA and Moab.
Thanks again....
