The wheel well will be 10-12" back, and I want the body about 6" lower.

Got the motor and tranny out today. We're cutting unnecessary brackets off the frame. I got transferred north for the next three and a half to five months, so one of my guys, who I laid off, is helping me. We're gonna clean up the frame, then pull it under the CJ 8 body, and fab up new body mounts. I'm going to order new front arms, as the heims, and all the bushings took a beating in the fire. Have the 40" creepy crawlers mounted on the rock monsters. Found an adaptor to go from the th400 to the NP241 Rock trac case, and am ordering seals, bearings and a new chain, as well as the teraflex 2 low kit for it. 401, th400, and a rock trac. Damn good combo, I think. Oh, and have a Dynatrac D60 coming for it. Gonna have this thing alive and roaring for Moab in March. My boys are looking forward to being there. Hell or high water. I'm just glad to have a good job right now, the way the oil patch in Alberta is going. Never mind the D44's I'm building for my CJ 7, and the work we're doing on my 15 year olds YJ. 12 years of no jeeps, no motors, no fun, and suddenly it all needs to be done at once. I'm a special kind of idiot.

3 out of 4 boggers say fire is bad for their health. Unfortunately 4wp doesn't offer their extreme warranty on interco tires. That's intercos call, not 4wp. So I'll be buying 3 more 38.5"x13.5"-17" boggers.

And gotta throw this in. Unfortunately I bought my winch off kijiji, like a Craigslist in Canada, but I bought the warn spydura line at 4wp, and paid the 10% for the Xtreme warranty. With my 10% jeep club discount, it was even. Got a brand new one, and a factor 55 thimble. Paid the 10% for the warranty again. Awesome service. Love the guys and gal at Red Deer 4wp.
