Most recent purchase

Apparently the bumper end cap was bumped the other day when I leaned into the back of the jeep. It broke off in one piece, I put it on the passenger seat for safe keeping until I could repair it. Set my work bag in seat the other morning in the dark and turned it into two pieces. 😭.

Getting ready to start the repair shortly.

Ya, those things are super brittle after almost 40 years. Are you aware of the aluminum ones available from Kim Dawson on the forum?

Yeah, I actually have a set in the box still. Was hanging onto those for my other 8. Actually just took a deposit on this jeep yesterday.

Speedgrip 2 part epoxy for the win. Had the texture better before but had some rough spots so had to sand on it. Found that if you put masking tape on it while it’s wet it almost mimics the texture of plastics. Got to practice a lot with a rzr I bought that had been flipped. Going to hit it with a skim of epoxy again and top it off with some tape.
