My first Warn 8274 Rebuild

[Belizeit]

I'm sure there is someone out there that will buy that, just not me

Me neither. I just found it interesting. It's more for the frame off restoration job.

I would consider talking to Herm. That price is pretty reasonable considering the new motor and solenoid pack. Still needs cable, but would save a bunch of time and effort.

Warn 8274 Fully Rebuilt Power In and Power Out Winch – $1300 | Herm The Overdrive Guy

Hmmm, pretty sure that one on ebay was picked up at Dawn and Jody's swap meet a year or two ago. Hard to find NOS. I'm surprised the seller is parting with it, but looks like he has it at the "Well if you HAVE to have it, I'll sell it for $$$$" price

[CHIEFWAHO]

I've scored 4 or 5 over the last few years. Most expensive one was $375 which included a Warn CJ mount.
One of them was new in the box.

Wow @CHIEFWAHO, I should have watched craigslist and marketplace more closely when my sister lived in SE K.

@CHIEFWAHO is a THIEF! Talk about CL scores. Man

Can you share what paint you used for the housing and how you got the color between the fins? Assuming you painted the whole housing and then polished off the paint.

Same stuff I use. Amazing paint for a rattle can.
