I've got an 82 Scrambler I purchased in 1995. My ex-wife said I'd own the jeep longer than our marriage would last, and she was correct.
Through multiple moves half way across the country, a divorce, and a lack of funds, my Scrambler hasn't run for more than half the time I've owned it. A good friend of mine has kept it for me in his barn more than it's been with me.
Fortunately, my latest career move brought me back to Ky. I've been able to afford the parts to get my Scrambler on the road again. The original motor was bored 30 over, added a SM420, added 4:1 to the D300, added D60 front and C25 rear, installed a full length roll cage with Corbeau seats and harnesses.
I drove it to the gas station yesterday, which is the first time I've driven it on the road since 2008.
I look forward to seeing other Scramblers here.
