Not 8's, but another source for "New" CJ7 Tubs?

I just spoke with the owner of real deal. Nice fellow. He said they are not making the CJ-8 tub but they are considering it. Apparently they get all of the body panels from a manufacturer who isn't MD Juan and assemble it all in Orlando.

Doesn't look like they make 8 floors or sides so maybe the 8 tub isn't in the cards.

Maybe he should also get some panels from Classic Enterprises and make an 8 tub.

Key parts was really looking good on Facebook. I believe a few members here actually helped with getting dimensions and reproduction of contours and such to make them alot higher quality than MDjaun

KeyParts is selling entire tubs?

Has anyone used one of the bulkheads? Curious how the fit is? Do they need any mods or does it all line up? Thanks.
I don't know if you were able to get a price but I searched the part number and found one >$1K

Here is one that is ~1/2 the price:

Here's a part of the ad:

This OEM replacement bulkhead fits perfectly with all floor and sidewall mounting holes lining up correctly. This bulkhead can also be used on CJ7s and YJs when using a OEM CJ-8 half hardtop.

I think you can find that Key bulkhead on ebay, new for $475 plus shipping. I can't link to it right now, but I will later.

Yep, found it. :o
I saw it around $500 on eBay... was tempted to see how it is compared to original.

Yeah I wonder if the Gr8tops one is the same.

I'm trying to decide if I need to buy a new one or put the money towards a welder to repair mine.
Clearly in my case buying new would be quicker.

It looks like the first picture in both ads are the same. I think it probably is the same product.

And when it comes to buying versus repairing, many of us have the same dilemma. I have significant rust through on the lower lip of mine. And I have no sheet metal welding experience. I will need to find someone to weld a new flange eventually.

He's been making these for years and is a Scrambler guy himself. If they weren't good, he'd have fixed them by now.
I'm not talking about the fiberglass bulkhead made by GR8TOPS. My reply was in reference to the KEY stamped metal bulkhead sold by GR8TOPS and others. GR8TOPS sells both now.
