Hey Guys,

I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for having us at your event this year, all of you are a great bunch of guys to hang and wheel with. We all had a great time the park is awesome, and the combination of stock to wild scramblers will help us make a great TV show. Hope our "Scrambled Scrambler" met everyones expectations, I know I was very happy with how will it worked even iwth an "off the shelf" suspension kit.

Thanks again, and Keep Wheelin'

WOW, WHAT a great time I had with you all on Friday morning!!! I only wish that I could have gotten out of my other engagements and spent more time, not to meantion bringing my own rig for the trails!

IAN, I have always enjoyed your show (I record it on my DVR as I travel so much) and watch every episode. Thanks again for giving me the tip on my 17 inch Rock Trasher Beadlocks (via your show). I really like them.

Thanks for hosting me and my last minute drop-by gang!
;)

Good turn out this year. Got to see old friends and meet a lot of nice Scrambler people.

We had 36 register this year, 31 registrants made it to the event with their guest & families. 26 Scramblers.
Total attendance 65. Thanks to all who helped make this an awesome event. I am sure there will be some pictures posted soon.:D

Great event!

Pics are coming folks.
I have TONS of pictures to go through.
Over the course of 3 days, I took a little over 1,400 pictures.
I also have most, if not all, of everybody elses that gave them to me to dump onto the SOA external hard drive.

I'll get 'em all posted a quick as I can. Remember, if you registered for the event, you'll get all of these pictures on a DVD in the mail once I can get them all burned and out in the mail.
If you didn't register but would like copies, they MAY be sold through the SOA. I'm not 100% certain of that but will check on it.

All in all, it was a GREAT event! Major kudos to the Adams family as well as Don Briney (Bobcat) for a well run event and some great raffle prizes again. I think the only complaint folks had was the heat which we can't help. No injuries, major rollovers, or extreme repairs necessary out on the trails that I know of. I enjoyed getting to know more folks I haven't met yet as well as the fellowship with others I already knew. I think my Dad had a great time. He'll be talking about it for quite some time.

Everybody enjoy the AC today wherever you are.

Great Time at National

Hey, I'm back online with thanks to Eric Walton!

Wanted to give a big thanks to all that put this event together. What a great time. So good to meet with everyone.

Also, Dad sure missed everyone and REALLY appreciated the card from everyone.
He's supposed to be able to go home later this week.

Hope to see you all again soon.

Hey Jake I guess it was you I was west bound on 72 on Wednesday. It was great seeing another scrambler on the road. I almost turned around and headed back west.

Yep, that was me!
I don't think I've ever gotten, or given as big of a Jeep wave as we exchanged on Wed.

I wish I'd known, woulda stopped and talked a while!

I have suggested that we change the bylaws to allow a september or october date...hot springs is awsome then...its too hot in Arkansas in june july or august

Home Again

Great seeing everyone. Looking forward to next year already.

Hats off to the Adams family. Unless you have done something similar to our national convention/meet, you have no idea of the hours that it requires to get every detail together as they did this past weekend. Outstanding job!

The new Interco 37" Tires will look good on the "New" 8. Thanks to the SOA board & Bobcat and everyone else connected with the raffle. I made out like a bandit! :D I think about everyone came away with something.

Now.....Anyone up for the Dunes the first weekend in August for the Mid West reginal Scramble???

Just wanted to say Sue and me had a great time. Props to the crew that made it happen. Sue's actually ready to go again as soon as the Scrambler is fixed.
Peter

My hats go off to the event committee. Those guys did a GREAT JOB!! plain and simple. They had everything running smoothly and solicitied some great raffle prizes also.:bow::bow:

Ian,Tom and the film crew were really good guys to be around and wheel with. The project Scrambler did great also. The extreme guys would have liked to see it on Impossible after Ingrids, but it still was a well built vehicle. I especially liked the motor. Great job on that Ian .

Jake White was there taking pictures all weekend of all of the groups while his dad took the Scrambler wheeling. Thanks for your dedication the last few years to our event and organization. :smokin:

Lastly i had a great time as usual with everyone there. I met alot of new faces at this event. Would have liked to meet more. maybe a different time. Thanks to the extreme group for putting me back on all fours :rotfl: and helping me out with a winch that worked when it felt like it wanted to.

Great Job guys!! Even though I've been a forum member for years, this was the first time I've been able to make it to the event and ya did great! Coordination was great, trails were great, BBQ was awesome and winning a pair of Wet Okle's was just icing on the cake. Maybe next year I can even bring the Scrambler altho my daughter did ask on the way home how we are all going to fit in it when it's fixed! Thanks to all for putting up with my children and my JK!

The Kids were a blessing to have around, and for the Scrambler, Full soft top and "Family" cage.

Yeah I don't think that you could have come any further out of that jeep with out falling out. I imagine I was a sight to see coming from the other direction.
We need to do a SE get to gather.

I have suggested that we change the bylaws to allow a september or october date...hot springs is awsome then...its too hot in Arkansas in june july or august

I did not think we wrote any thing into the bylaws requiring the event to be a certain time of the year. Just the basic requirements of what is needed.

After two days of hard driving, we finally made it home safe and sound. Total damage for the weekend was one tail light lense cover and a u-joint that should have been replaced before we even left home. The new camp rig worked almost perfect except for a glitch with thre frig.

Kudo's to the commitee for a spectacular weekend. Made a lot of new friends and got reacquinted with some I haven't seen in a few years.

Steph probably won't quit talking about the trip for six weeks. Of course, then she'll get going again after the show comes out.

As far as a SE event in the fall, that was mentioned between numerous folks. We'll start another thread about it soon, but the idea is something near the AL/GA/TN junction, probably in early October.

Again, thanks for a great weekend.
