Mine is a #1. Recoil and muzzle jump can be a bit harsh. Most of my friends won't shoot it anymore.

Great! Now if this garbage weather subsides I'll be able to add some more to this thread. We've got 14" since Saturday night with winds averaging about 30 and gusts of up to 60. NOTHING is moving unless it absolutely has to right now. No tracks in 2 days.
 
Got another. My brother unloaded his 3030 at him and told me he was wounded. He never hit it but I did. I also got a doe while dragging this one out. I've shot 4 times this year and got 4 deer. He shot 7 times and nothing.

0 degrees in the mornings but got up to a balmy 12 degrees during the day.
 
Managed to get out with my muzzle loader for the last time this year. Season ends tomorrow but I'm working. Found some does bedded down in some downed trees. I shot one and she ran straight for the truck! If she only made it another 50 yards she would have been right there. Got a total of 6 this year. Just got a report from a friend that there's 4-5" of good black ice on the lake. Now back to lakers.
 
Yesterday morning, and yesterday afternoon here in Arkansas.

Broke ice in the morning, was 60 degrees by late afternoon.

Morning hunt was 5 miles from the house, afternoon hunt is 3/10's of a mile from the house.

About a month ago, near Dawson New Mexico. 338 Lapua at ~425 yards, scored a 339.



 
I spent Monday through Wednesday hunting ducks and pheasant at a place in south central Kansas. I had the opportunity to go through a supplier I do business with. Incredibly fancy place, awesome hunting and accommodations.

I got this one two years ago. 11x11 scored 498 5/8 and top 20 in the world on SCI.

I would have started a fire right there and ate a few pounds to make it lighter, then used my Jeep (one of them) to winch it out. :drool: Nice drop.

Very nice!

I hunted alone this morning, and the only ducks flying were Pintail, so I had to settle for a limit of two.

As I was walking out, I saw this guy watching me....
