I want to get the poison spyder corner guards ( part# 12-04-010) but cant fjnd them anywhere. Seems like all their stuff for Cj8s is now unavailable. Any ideas where I could find these??? Thank you.

Believe that they killed all of this after Poison Spyder was acquired by Transamerican years ago now.

Cost cutting, corner cutting, "optimizing"... whatever you want to call it :rolleyes:

It's a shame because I've always liked the set on mine.
 
I emailed Rob from Nemesis Industries to see if they want to make a set. If they do, I will post it here. Maybe others here are interested and we can do a group buy. I'll let you all know.

I also talked to Vic at Poison Spyder, he said that they are looking at bringing a lot of the CJ stuff back. Apparently they are getting a bunch of requests for the cj stuff. They moved their manufacturing facility and are trying to get caught up, so it will take some time. We'll see.

I would take every comment they made with a shaker full of salt.
 
Genright still offers some. They are aluminum and you have to cut out the wheelwheel yourself. They are expensive. They don't have specific rocker guards for an 8. You may have to call them and talk to them as they may have a work around?

I like my poison spyder setup, but I do wish it was aluminum to save weight.
 
Both options well over $1,000. Hopefully Nemesis comes back with a better price, if they even want to do it.

Mark Hinkley ay Nemisis and I were going back and forth with a template a couple of years ago for my 8 so they at least have a nearly complete test template.
 
Well I haven't heard back from Nemesis, but I came across another company making them. Wizard Works Offroad in Canton, Ohio. Spoke to the owner and they make the steel ones. $800 plus shipping. They have pictures online, if anyone is interested. The owner and his dad are Scrambler owners too.
 
For what it's worth, I spoke to the parent company that bought the Poison Spyder brand. I asked if they intend on manufacturing the CJ line of items again, specifically for the CJ-8. He said there's a meeting in June/July of 2024 to discuss the brand and if it will continue and to what degree. Just thought I'd pass this along.

Anyone want to put odds on it? I would not hold your breath.
 
A meeting like that is to discuss how they can either kill the brand or try to liquidate it in some way. No way they will actually produce anything, that would require a capital investment.
 
I have a set of unused corners with the integrated fender flares. They've been in my garage on a shelf for 10years and I don't think I'm ever going to use them. PM me if you are interested. I'm in Erie, PA.

I would love to have one of their CJ hood louver kits. Sadly I watched the clearance sales and didn't buy one then.
