Project Panel Replacement

I know a guy that had some makeup in Morgantown, PA. Had them on ebay and FB marketplace. not sure if he has any left.
He might be the one I was going to mention, I think he is on the FB Scrambler Owners Group.

He sent me these in July 2020. Originally he had 10 sets made.
I thought he posted them on this site, I told him about it.

What is his screen name here? I can at least ask and see what the situation is for everyones knowledge.

Seats are finally out and a new load of metal for the scrap heap... this thing is rusty, however the uncut dash panel will be used on the Scrambler.
The 20 gallon tank as well (need a nice skid plate though, this one is trashed).
Also the Steering wheel could be a candidate, but the horn button needs a new center.

The front clip of this frame will be used to fix the front of the Scrambler frame.

One Jeep giving up parts for another...sharing is caring... lol.

Not sure, I tried to find it last night, maybe he never posted here but I might be wrong. I will send him a text today.

And this was a first for me... rotted out body mounts... replaced and merged into the existing crossmember... 1/4" (or more) thick.

I got a new crossmember a while back that will go on there... bumper is attached in so many places that the torch is gonna have to handle it... I am not playing around with trying to remove it nicely.

Doesn't look like a ton, but I went through multiple cut off discs and a few blades trying to get this stuff off... welded in places things shouldn't be welded just to "get it to pass inspection" from the looks of it.

Anyway, we press on.

Frame is a bit more "tender" in the rear and on one side over the axle hump (in the typical spot)... I might have to go with a TDK frame. It is all fixable, but it is just how much do you chase and from a time standpoint?

I wanted to show how bolts rust up here in New England... this is a phenomenon that I have seen many times... it rusts from the center out.
So the middle gets very narrow and the sides are still the same thickness...

Wow, great bolts of rust…. Thanks for sharing, I have not seen this before.

TDK standard or Hybrid?
Probably standard at this point... I have all the parts to just put it back together with the tub that is being fixed.
Getting into needing another good donor TJ right now is not really on the books, but I do like the idea.
I have always wanted a Scrambler on a LJ frame, but I need to get this built and done first and then consider other things.

I never saw this and missed it... I wonder if he has more.
Seems like a great thing to be remade as the ones that I take off are usually pretty beaten.

Craig (and others),
I had messaged him after I found his old post on FB, he just got back to me with this:

Yes I have them. I had them reproduced. I can get you pictures of them. I changed things around in my phone and have to find them to send to you.

I replied back for more information.
