My 2 cents. If you build a truck on the tube chassis and decide to sell it, who's going to want to buy it?

I assume that was pointed at me... these aftermarket Scrambler/CJ-7 frames were all the rage 10-15 years ago when AFW and MCorr and Matikins were fighting it out... that all became TDK now from what I understand.
I don't have the luxury of finding very nice frames up here in the North, so when this "rolling chassis project" came available, I jumped on it... it was a great deal for all the parts/pieces that came with it.
The frame has POR_15 on it and has zero rust.

I truly don't know what I am going to do with the Scrambler tube frame yet... more than likely sell it as I have the other Scrambler project to start after the UK Jeep, but I guess your comment is true about that, who would want to buy a Scrambler with an aftermarket Matkins frame? or I guess any aftermarket frame?

I don't think it would be an issue if you built it as an offroad capable cj8
Is not something you would use for a restoration


 
I sure don't have any room to talk I've done stranger things in my life. I once took a 4 door Corvair and cut one section of doors out and welded it back together. I'm glad now I didn't take any pictures. Needless to say it didn't handle very well.
 
I had one that showed 122 as I was driving but it was hard to read. Welcome to Phoenix.
