Spotted this CJ7 last week in South Florida when my dad and I were down there to fly fish the Everglades.
That is a nice one! Reminds me of the first CJ I ever drove when I was 16. It was exactly like that only it had a hard top and doors. I test drove it but my parents wouldn't let me buy it. [emoji22]

Haha that's too much of a coincidence. My first CJ experience was at age 16 when by Dads hunting buddy had an 86 black renegade with blue stripes. His son was 13, and at the camp he said it was ok that we take it for a ride. At 16 we don't have licenses it's not till 17 and needless to say it was the 13 yr old kid that said it was ok not the father, and off we went all over the property and off of it some, breaking many laws in the process, but returning it in one piece unharmed. Growing up I was never in more trouble ever, than that fateful day. But it's what hooked me on CJs and by age 17.5, i worked 6 days and 6 nights at 2 jobs to get a second vehicle, an 84 CJ-7 to compliment my not so awesome 1979 dodge aspen coupe.

Thanks for Sharing that Jersyjeeps!
- Enjoyed

My brother had a similar black CJ-7 4-banger Renegade that I got started in... it kept breaking down and he didn't want to fix it, so I did... but then of course I had to test drive it... and usually ended up off road... nothing a wash didn't fix, just muddy trails.

I loved it, but decided it was too short and the ride too bumpy for a daily driver.... Then I drove the 8... thus, now I'm here... 20 some years later.

Jerseys got a really nice one. OK realistically what doesn't he have?

There is a very nice one - ambulance style, sitting on the side of a road in a little mountain town in Colorado. When I have a more stable job and income, I will go there with a trailer and lay some money on the table and see what happens.

(actual jeep not pictured)
