Holy moly .... I need a set of t bolts for my rocker panels. My search found some $100 for a set. I might have to fork it over, but first I wanted to check within the Scrambler World and see if anyone knows of a better deal, or have a DIY method. Thanks in advance

A more economical way to attach the rocker moldings is to use Elevator Bolts. You can get them from McMaster-Carr. They are 5/16-18 x 1" and zinc plated with nuts. Come in box of 10. They don't have the thick part on the bolt to stop you from over tightening, but you can put a sleeve over the stud to create your own stop or just don't over tighten.

I found a seller on EBay that has stainless sets for around $100.

I have my old ones, well the 10 for the body that is. 2 broke and I drilled and tapped for studs. I dipped them in RustMort and they are pretty good. I don’t have anything for the fenders. If you want the set I’ll sell them for $25 plus shipping which would probably be $10 priority Mail. Let me know if you’re interested. I’ll get out and take a picture tomorrow.

Here’s what I have. The two in the front are the ones I drilled and tapped. They have all gotten their acid bath and are ready to paint and install. These are the 10 for the body, that’s all I have. You’ll have to figure out the one for each side on the front fender. 4B18461D-932C-443A-93E3-0FCD80244A00.jpegCED9364D-9A6C-4FE4-88D7-B79E002384DE.jpegA941D416-962B-4DF2-91EC-11C5B9111149.jpeg1B4812C5-A86B-4D8E-AA8F-987EF6A2A195.jpeg

What are you using in place of these? Have to look around. Think I saved the T nuts in a zip loc bag, tucked away in a box...somewhere.
