Speedhut gauge install, wiring update/fix, switchplate

So is that a fuel mileage enhancement, or are you missing your 2-3 shift spanking those mustangs in the quarter?

I can set it to what ever RPM i want. Anyone who has seen me drive knows I dont drive with MPG in mind.
Currently its set to 5500. :)
I didnt need one, but for $20 i couldnt resist!!

Thats wide open. No mufflers or cat! ;)

Damn Canadian, mucking up my install thread. :rotfl:

Hope to get back out tonight. GPS antenna mounted and connected, hidden in fresh air vent like that damn Canadian's. I'm also getting signal in my garage :woot:

Started in on the switch plate wiring. Have a lot of wiring clean up to do. And have to actually fab the switch plate.

Pics to come, not showing up on this thing for some reason.

Thats MR. DAMN CANADIAN to you!!!

Did you talk to them about placement? I was leaning towards the base of the windshield on the inside.......

For what? Shift light? No. Just needs to be visable while driving. Its very bright.

I mounted mine in the cowl vent. BW said i was a genius (his exact words, i think) and he mounted his there as well. :) :bacon:

Yeah, I really like that placement and did the same though I had to drill a hole for my wire where Mike apparently had a gap somewhere he could use.

After I got ALL the honking long wire secured under the dash I came back and put some RTV on the opening in the rubber grommet to seal it back. Mounted with emblem tape after cleaning the plastic.

Plugging away at the switch plate wiring. Some more connections to the new love of my life, this distribution block is the schiznit. I have the two existing switched circuits (OBA and KC lights ready to plug in. Cleaned up more wiring in the engine bay and moved two circuits off straight battery connections to the PDC.

I love it when a plan (finally starts) comes (coming) together. Been needing to do this since the engine swap. :woot:
