Submit your pics of your totally restored scrambler. Restored means back to it's original luster. Painting it is not restored...

I want to see the best of the best.

here is one of it restored to stock..other than the tires

started the mods shortly after

Boring...Boring!!
Other than the paint color they all look the same:eek: ....The pictures you really want are the: Bobbed; Highly Modified; Big Tire; Big Axled; Big Ever thing That Counts;) Kind of Machine! lol:rotfl: Just Kidding!

Minor mods like a Weber, better electrical, better brakes, etc are...well...better. Makes the rig safer, last longer, and run better. And, if you can keep a stock look all the better. Personally, I have added a full top and will be doing a "non-stock" color too.

Perfect!

I put my soul into this one. When it was done it was all original, the only thing anyone could call a "mod" was BF Goodrich tires rather than Goodyear. The down side was it was so perfect that I couldn't bring myself to drive it as I am afraid something would happen to it. Ended up selling it for a bunch of cash and wish I still had it every day! Hope you like the pics.

Alamo, that is a sweet ride, I bet you do miss that one.

I know it is of small consolation...but at least you have your untarnished memories. I bought a Scrambler that was very nicely done...and in 3-years, it is a pile of rust. I can't wait to get the body done again and hopefully find a way to keep it that way.

Alamo, that was a fine example of a restored CJ8....

Is that all we have for a fully restored unit on this site?

Come on guys. Alamo is going to win the prize. Lets see your best restored rigs...

Almost stock with the addition of a 2.5 lift and 35" tires, makes it look like it should, also has tbi, and 2.5" flowmaster for better running, I like it enough I can't seem to let it go!!, thats why I am selling the other 2 I have!

Alamo, spectacular resto and great color--probably the only color I prefer over the nutmeg . . . thanks for sharing.

Regards, Dave.

Just finished this up, got the grimlins out of the engine
pretty much stock, slight lift, tires, carb

Every time I see that Scrambler I say "Man that is one sharp A$$ Scrambler!"

I told dad our next build should be a clone to the `Charity Scrambler'

The whole thing just works for me! The stance, color scheme, all of it.

Anyone remember where they got the striping kit for the charity Scrambler? Thats the one I wanted to put on mine.

I'm pretty sure they came from Austin Jeeps.
Their sponsorship logo is on the sign that came with it.
