Well, this was done on Saturday the 19th... Lit the fire at 12:30 AM and pulled the 3 briskets off at 1:00 or so that afternoon. Low and slow with mesquite wood. Now the 2 of us have some good brisket for a little while. 3 more packer cut briskets in the freezer for the next go round...

Smoked some pork loin and ribs today. I only added a little ghost peppers, but man did the heat come through on the loin. I have not tried the ribs yet.

I smoked some ribs on my pellet smoker, this thing is amazing!

Not a shoulder clod this time. It is brisket. Clod is a great cut for smoking though.
 
I've been wanting to try a clod, just so much meat there. It would be a feast for a fiesta !
 
Never hear of clod. Will have to look it up and see if it is something I would like to smoke
