Back when I first got interested in getting a Jeep, the mid '70s, I got hooked on this mag. It was really good till Peterson bought it. Who remembers PV4WD Mag.

I definitely miss all the good Jeep/4x4 Mags! I do get OVR now but that's it. I pretty much copied Mark Werkmeister's "Project Too Long" with my Scrambler build. That was in JP Magazine.

JP in the Cappa years was the best. Verne Simons lived about 2 miles from me in NC and was the first person to correctly ID my Postal ”in the wild.” Became good friends and couldn’t wait for my new issues.

I just found alot of my old JP magazines when going through stuff 2 weeks ago. They're in their own box while all the other 4wd/truck mags are mixed together.
