you know if he'd had that rear axle mounted on the bumper as shown with another set of tires,he might have been able to "power out of it" when it hit on it's nose.:rolleyes:

if you look at the cage it held up,if it had punched through the floor or collasped it would not have ended with him walking away,bottom line is he probably would have been very seriously injured or killed...........this folks is "WHY" i stress the importantance of a QUALITY rollcage and if your not a skilled welder leave it to a someone that is,DON'T TAKE CHANCES WITH YOUR OR YOUR PASSENGERS LIVES! and make sure you and your passengers are buckeled up!:eek: -JC

Yes I agree that the cage was well designed. Too bad he did not think more about the seat placement and design. She how the factory seat just folded away. He was real lucky to have stayed with the jeep on the way down. He almost slipped out from under the seat belt and then we would have been crushed between the roll cage and the dirt.

It would have been much better to have back braced the seat and gone to a four or five point harness tied into the cage.

He was very lucky.

Hope that next jeep he spends a little more time thinking about safety.
