The countdown is on! :D

All -

Great to see that the SOA event will be back in TN this year! I sold my Scrambler a few years ago to my buddy down in LA, but I may try to swing out there and catch up with my favorite Jeep Organization!

Hope my YJ plays nice with all those tail draggers...

Good luck with the event, and let me know if I can help with any logistics. I'm just a bit over an hour away, and make the drive over there every month or so.

Money paypaled so we should be set once I confirm my campground reservation. Paid for an 1 more shirt than I had on my registration because Jessica is talking about possibly coming. Something about the fact she can do some of the driving.

Now we just need to get the TBI and OBA done before the trip.

Eric - great to have y'all (still)!

Roger - great to hear from you! I was just thinking about you the other day and how this one is even closer to you than Windrock. You need to get your buddy who bought your Scrambler up here for the event! You've got a seat with me if you want it!

I received mine yesterday also. Allready put it on a magnet and on the dash of my scrambler.

First Timer

Hey guys,

I just talked to my dad on the phone and we should get the scrambler back from the paint shop tomorrow. We still have a little work to do (wiring, weather stripping, etc) but we're going to push it to get done in time to come check out this event (it's only 3 hrs away). I can't do any wheeling but I'm definitely fine with spectating. I haven't really spent much time on the site since I've been at school and unable to work on the scrambler much but hopefully we can make it up in June and check out some great scramblers and wheeling. I hope to meet some of ya'll there.

Yep, I've invited him, and I think you'll get a new SOA member from another friend here in Nashville with a nice 83, 6 cyl, auto, 4" lift and 33s. Let me know if I can help with anything, pres..

It's MAY! 51 Days!

Countdown's on folks!!!

We already have 16 registrations and I know from looking at the list that there's more than a few folks I know are coming that just haven't yet registered.

The insane rain they just got in TN probably helped to make the trails a bit more "interesting" too :D

I freaking can't wait! I've already started the pile of stuff to bring.

If you missed it, check out the waiver form that the park requires, I posted it a bit ago. You can fill it out ahead of time and just bring it to hand in.

Also, we have a cool addition in the Iron Horse bluegrass band that will play a couple of sets during our dinner Sat night.

Get those registrations in!! WOOT!

19 registered so far...come on guys, get those registrations in.
I know of others who are coming but haven't registered.
Can we make 30?
42 days left!!!!!!

Just had a bit of a panic looking at all the full weekends before this comes up

We decided it's just going to be me coming down, Laura and Kate will hang at home. My main office is in Cincinnati, so I'm going to stop in there for a day of work on the way down and back to break up the trip and I'm going to try to work out a visit to my client in Cookeville on Monday before heading to Cinci and then back to MI.

What do folks have to do to get ready?

I have to get some storage issues figured out, get the new coalescing filter setup into the OBA, do a tune up on the engine (plugs/wires/etc.), get the intermittent wiper module/switch in, HOPEFULLY receive a good pair of 2-piece doors from bestop along with a replacement right side window, get my tranny temp gage installed, make up a gage/switch panel to put in place of the stereo hole in the dash, move some wires/gages to the new panel, lube the suspension/steering, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a number of things...

I always seem to do last minute stuff to my scrambler every year. This year I've installed hydroboost brakes and built a set of bead locks,(done but have a slow leak on one and having trouble finding it):banghead: lengthen e brake cable on scrambler, and still have to install brakes on my trailer. Nothing like waiting till last minute to do things.
