2010 National Scramble: June 24-26th, Sparta TN

Do we have or want have a sell/swap thread for parts people need or want or want to sell, yet?

I know we've done it in the past and even done parts relay and transport.

Last years beer survey worked out great. I took request of members on what beer they would like in the first cooler of beer that I furnished within reason $$$ and then the cooler was a community cooler whch people would keep stocked throughout the event, this worked great last year. A GOOD COLD BEER AFTER A HOT DAY ON THE TRAIL SURE TASTED GOOD.:cheers: So I'm going to do the same thing this year, so sound out.

Don

Diet A&W,(that is root beer right?) Pepsi, is that all? Looks like I'll be getting off cheap.

Don

A&W Cream Soda for the girls, diet coke for me.

Sorry - no beer request - don't drink it when I'm tired and hot. And I'm sure I'll be both after running around and spotting you so much.

You got it Eric. And I appreciated you spotting for me last year.

donaghy

Not definite yet.. but the donaghy family is hoping to make it for a couple of the days of the event. Once again, definitely not in a scrambler but hopefully all of you will have us ...

sold the green LJ earlier last month and have a LJ rubicon that needed a front clip to it. hope to have it drivable later this week and back on the road. We may just even drive the jeep up there as I had not even converted it to a halftop yet. Cooper will have the whole back seat to himself.

PS.. you'll know its us coming when we get close.. as you will probably hear waylon jennings playing real loud.....a few of you may or may not get that small inside joke..

Hope you can make it Matt. It's been a few years since I've seen you.

It's on my MP3 player too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I even heard a rumor that the band may have it in their play list for us.

Also have a nice cut from Moe Bandy & Joe Stampley that's pretty good as well!

Don, at the temperatures we're likely to be dealing with, I'd be all about some Pabst :D

Eric PBR is hard to find down here for some reason, but I'll look. I used to drink it all the time when I was a kid.

Don't go out of your way, you know what I mean, some sort of cheap, light beer would be perfect after a hot and dusty day of trail riding.

I've got an idea...
Those of you with a local brewery in your local town or area, bring some of your favorite from their selection and we do some comparo...

Here's ours.

Rick MoPedal Sharpe, a little Southern Flyer from Big River Brewery in Chattanooga would probably be enjoyed by many (They sell a "Growler" jug BTW)

MATT - that'll be great to see the 'ol Donaghy family! Y'all are always welcome, 8 or no 8.

Preregistration Deadline is getting Close!
Get them in now!

Just looking through the Preregistration list and we are up to 32, representing 17 different states. Wow that is COOL!

Might be counting the chickens before they hatch but it looks like the "Kansas Scramblers" are once again the state to beat for the most scramblers from one state! This would make 7 years straight!!!!!!!!!!
