1984 SL Restoration

Oh, BTW the building you see in the back ground is where I live. Its a hard life being a car junky.
I didn't say I was a painter just that I have painted....lol

Started cleaning up out there so that I could find things again. Came across another Jeep that I've been messing with.

Sure are the lucky one. you won't see a rig that nice up here in the rust belt. Maine uses alot of salt etc. Enjoy and congrats.

So, I picked up another painter today. A better one. I hope.
I'm shooting for a 2 month time line. Painter 3-5 weeks and whatever else I want to change, fix, update, install, etc. the other few weeks. Remember, it's already been 7 months since I started and I think most of what I wanted to do or get has been done or gotten but, there's always more...
I'm sure once I'm driving it again, I'll tinker.

Good luck on the paint! I'm still nailing down a color....neverending process...

Way to keep him accountable!!!

Hey man, it works !!

Here's the first load going to the painter to get prep work:woot:

Weekly Progress (or lack of) BUMP:needpic:

Thanks DL. I almost forgot.

I have been getting everything rounded up for reassembly once I get the body back from
paint.
Here is some interior stuff waiting to go in.

I can't decide on the interior color yet. I like the nutmeg and red as much as the black and red. However, I am using the original silver combo decals on the exterior and dash which would lend to a black interior. I think the nutmeg decals would look good outside too.

Nice try, but you already had all of those parts:rotfl:

Has the body tub been dropped off at the painters shop yet?

DL, hee hee, CS:woot:

No father ;), the tub is still in my possession. My new painter is currently correcting the work of Soul Glow Customs LLC. INT. on the first load I brought him:banghead:
