Been a while since we had a Beer thread...

Local brewery white flame posted a new brew tonight, so we went and got our growler filled. Cookie Monster Brown, a nice brown ale brewed with dutch windmill cookies. Clean pour with a head that diminishes quickly. A mellow brown ale with good spice notes at the end.

Drool, drool. Sounds awesome! Nice slammed Splitty too!

Another from our local brewery White Flame, this is Red Shoes, an IPA brewed with habaneros. It hits the entire mouth with heat and stays with a burn on the lips. Tasty!

First one of these from Founders. When you look up "big beer" there's this picture. This beer hurt a little on the first sip, after the initial adjustment, it was pure heaven.

Wow...112 IBU with 12% ABV- That's a MOUTHFULL! Nice pool, too...

Best kind of pool, a neighbor who's very generous with it!

And it's a BIG mouthful of beer. Especially the first sip. I wasn't fully ready.

Holy crap a triple. I am not worthy! :)

Doing a stereo install on a boat. Once 5pm hit, one of these was in order.

Most people would hate that Devil Dancer. Definitely not for the masses.

I've never seen that one from Dogfish head. We have a lot of 60-minute and some 90-minute up here, but not that.

Beer just looked like a dark stout in a pint glass, so took a shot of the description. Smugglers Hazelnut Stout by Hideout brewing was a new one for me at our favorite local BBQ place on a rare date night.

Great brew, my favorite hazelnut stout after the one from Rogue. Really enjoyed it as did Kate.

Sam Adams Stoney Brook Red. Very nice flavor. A bit of a red wine taste.

Traded beer today with kin from Ohio. I recieved some Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout out of Lexington, KY. Black in color with a brown head that disappears quickly. Smooth tasting and clean for a bourbon barrel stout with a heavy coffee finish, very heavy. 8% ABV.

and my wife says I need to get my eyes checked...

If it was Jeeps, guns, Beer, women and car shows, I wouldn't need to get the checked!

Although, I did learn something today... I thought 686 were 7 shots, not 6... I guess I will have to look for one.
Nice all around!

I get that KBBS every time I go shopping in Cincinnati. Good stuff.

I had this for the first time tonight at our BBQ joint. Shift lager by New Belgium. Nice lager with lighter body but a nice little hop bite, just a hint.

Really liked it and can see a lot of this being drank at the pool and around campfires.
