Been a while since we had a Beer thread...

Next up. I think it's a dark beer kinda night. Really like this local stout.

And the closer for the evening. About to hit the back porch with my favorite cigar and one of my favorite stouts. Bluegrass brewing bourbon Barrel Stout and a Mayorga Maduro Gordito.

Working on my Wife's '47 Chevy pickup this evening and enjoying a Boulevard Brewing Pale Ale.

Tried Rogue Bacon Maple Beer for the first time tonight. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect but I was excited to try it since I love VooDoo Doughnuts Maple Baconator. It tastes just like smokey maple bacon. Interesting beer but I probably won't buy it again.

That's a beer to pull out at a party and let people have a small tasting glass. Not a pint beer to me either.

One of my all time, all around favorites. Boddington's in a pub widget can.

Not as good as the old Abbott's Ale before they quit doing the widget, but a solid substitute. Hadn't had any of these for a long time.

Had to do time lapse on this one.

I saw time lapse and I thought it would have a date/timestamp next to the sips/pulls on the glass to see when you started and when you finished.

You are such a tease...

No, one of the things I love about these beers is the pour and watching it settle. For time scale, there's about 10 seconds before the first two and another 30 seconds between the second and third. Love it.

Drinking some Ipswich Oatmeal Stout at Bacchanal in New Orleans with some friends for my wife's 30th birthday.

Drinking a can of Lone Star right now! ;)

No photos because the only light was campfire light :)

Had two cigars with two great beers.

Arturo Fuente Reaesva Maduro Churchill with a Stoudt's Fat Dog Imperial Oatmeal Stout, which was well aged and one of my very favorite stouts.

Mayorga Gordito Maduro Torpedo with a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. Great flavorful beer with definite bourbon taste and smooth as anything you'll ever drink.

Been working away and just read this and i cant believe they export "The cream of Manchester" to you lot:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Spent the last two days putting laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and living room. Last night my wife took me out for dinner, er, pain killer to 900 Wall...a shot of Patron Silver, followed by some Double Mountain Brewing IRA. Very nice. Oh, also had a killer wood fired chicken/bacon pizza. Then over to McMenamins for dessert- Whiskey Bread Pudding with their Irish Stout on nitro...

I want. All of that. I want.

Family was up this weekend.
I went to the local beer selection stop and was recommended that if you like ales, this one will bit the back of your teeth.
7.2%, name you can see, I won't repeat, and it was more of a red color, not too brown.
My mother was up and she always likes to try new beers when she is here, as I always have something a little different from down south.

We started off with some Sam's Octoberfest as it was October and then tried the following.
Pint and a half... very very very nice... big bit at the end of it, right in the back of your teeth.
Taste was good... although Mom thought the Octoberfest was better.

Had a nice kick to it... no idea if anyone has tried it, but it was pretty good.

LOVE Arrogant Bastard!! They have a Double Oaked version of that same beer that is even better.

I have a few Centential IPA's that will enjoyed this evening around something I created this week...

I only had the semi-finished picture, I will try to get a picture with the tasty beverages as well.
