Official CJ-8.com cigar and scotch/whiskey thread

I never said big brother as watching that, you, or I. Dont make me post my favorite pic.

:rotfl:

Tonight's closer for the evening. About to hit the back porch with my favorite cigar and one of my favorite stouts. Bluegrass brewing bourbon Barrel Stout and a Mayorga Maduro Gordito.

I know it's not whiskey, but it's definitely bourbon related. :bacon:

Alec Bradley, Nica Puro.
Pretty good.

Brother had a Monte Cristo.
Really good

Screw BIG BROTHER, I still would buy that box of cigars.

Had them, I'd take a box of Fuente Opus X over them personally. Nice and legal too, just harder than hell to find and always way overpriced.

Drinking some Blanton's single barrel while waiting for "hurricane" Karen to come ashore.
Pretty darn good.

Blantons is awesome. Father in law gave me a bottle each of the last two Christmases. :smokin:

i was on a cigar forum years ago..and got to be pretty good friends with Martin Mayorga..always seemed like a heck of a guy ..passionate about his product...you should try his coffee too...awsome

So glad we have a thread on this now too, what a great idea! My favorite has to be Balvenie's 12 Year Signature, everyone should try it once in their life. But if I have to brag...Look what I received last year when I graduated from college. Never heard of it until I did my research, I'm probably going to save it until my first son is born!

Had two great cigars tonight. No pics but first one was an Arturo Fuente Reserva Maduro Churchill and the second was another Mayorga Gordito Maduro Torpedo.

Had them with a couple nice beers to celebrate a full day of Scrambler wheeling tomorrow.

I'll have to give this a try. I like Evan Williams Whiskey- smoother AND stronger than JD

Rip Van Winkle, one of the best bourbons ever made!

Not big on Cigars, but I do enjoy my pipes with various types of tobacco!

LOVE Oban! Never owned a bottle (not sure why), but I'll get it often when out at dinner.

My first bottle of it as well, have had it several times at the former local watering hole.

Found this tonight (while taking a drive in Mater), one of my favorite breweries started in on liquor a while back but I'd never come across any of their stuff.

A twist on bourbon barrel beers. Beer barrel bourbon.

Very reasonable price, very smooth with definite beer/malty hints. This is up there as a new everyday favorite.

I got a bottle last year for new years eve. Its about half gone now. Isn't my favorite, it's from Indiana though, I believe it is just marketed through New Holland from what I am told, not made by.

I went college with a guy from Holland MI...owns some big tulip farm up there...Name is Jim Veldeer....might need to visit..whiskey is always a good reason for a visit
