Spent too long in a 120 degree attic but found an elusive nos j truck fuel filler bezel for instance. It's been that kinda day. Pics coming soon. :)

Yes those are 1980 only blue highbacks. Pre 1980 was low, then they went plain (no laredo style stripes) in 1981 and slate in '82.

We still on road finally heading home. Took the Pickens best original award for the trifecta 2012-2014 and more good parts picking on the way back.

Yeah talked to him a while. It's restored but sold new there at Pickens. I don't recall a black GE sold outta there .. Details ?

As you mentioned, they always have a lot of really nice CJ's there, so that is a real honor to walk away w/ an award.
