Yes except I believe that truck may have been total stock which some people put a premium on that. I have a stock but restored '81 Scrambler too that I will be putting up for sale here soon. I went through the same process with it as Stump Jumper about 5 years ago.So in retrospect that 40k 5000 mile scrambler from Barrett is in par with a new build.
I would say the price is right for what I ended up with. The only labor I paid for was the painting because my skill level just was up to par for my expectations. I will also be paying for the labor to have the gears and Detroit locker installed.I'd say your build came in cheap for what you ended up with. You did a vast majority of the work your self, just imagine if you had paid for all the body work and/or engine swap! Great job!

I'm actually installing a Detroit "Light" locker, similar to the true trac I believe. If this is a street jeep, why the Detroit locker? Wouldn't a true trac make more sense?
Well I built Stump Jumper to drive and we turned 1,030 miles today. I'm just going to keep driving the chit out of this thing.

The "Swamp Cooler"? I couldn't live without it. I don't even turn the two exhaust fans in the wall on because all they do is suck the hot air from outside into the building. I actually have a second smaller swamp cooler too. It's unseen in front of the Hummer.
I wonder how come I cant see that picture,
