i love woody, oaky bourbon and one of my favorites has been Woodford Double Oaked. Just found this and it's ~97% as good as the Woodford for less than half of the cost. This is a new staple for my cabinet. Smooth and rich, so much better than basic Beam.

Husband & I are bourbon fans, travelled the Kentucky Bourbon trail and he signed up to be a Makers Mark ambassador. Perks of signing up are the yearly Christmas gifts. First couple of years he received wrapping paper and gift boxes, but the next year's became much more interesting....Bottle sweater, scarf, ear muffs and this year's bottle mistletoe. Always fun to see what will be next!
On the 5th year the cask with his name on it was tapped and he, along with the others named on the cask, had the opportunity to purchase labeled bottles, dip them in wax and enjoy a private tour of the facility.
These folks do a bang up job and make a darn good Bourbon!

I can'r bring myself to finishing the Buffalo Trace and yes they are all in some state of emptiness. Nothing goes unopened around here. The Jack Honey is my work in the barn sipper.

Haha. That is one way to look at it. And I hear it is illegal to send alcohol, so I am sorry. I will have to drink it all. Eventually. Unless I get visitors that is.

Yes Western Mass. is closer Craig and while your here, we can work on stuff, while taking part of the Woodford or others. But you have to try the Angels Envy. Bring that tub down with yah.

The Russells is quite good. Very smooth
