Not a CJ, but a nice 2006 TJ. My wife had mentioned the other day that she wouldn't mind having another blue TJ like I use to have, but an automatic. Well, me being the awesome husband I am, found a clean one 3.5 hours away and had it for her within 48 hours of her making the statement. Then, come to find out, that wasn't what she meant. Well, it'll get added to the fleet. Lol. Win some, lose some.

LOL, Women speak. And they wonder why we get so confused all the time.

We've been so busy with stuff this summer and fall that no time had got spent on the build. I did want a break from the everyday headache and get away by working on the mounting of the oil and transmission coolers. Only a couple hours but it was a good change for a bit. It will have a skid plate suspended in order to keep them protected. One day it'll get finished. Lol

I’ve worked on some plumbing with the coolers in the rear and remote filters and thermostats for each. They will also have a manual override switch for each one. The filters are in the fender wells, the JKU frame is wider than the CJ so they’re protected and will be covered with a plate. We also got the new lift installed back in the fall. How’d I live without it??CDB24027-5A7D-4BDF-A145-54E0EE144663.jpeg205E007D-84D3-423D-B944-11F5A7B201C6.jpeg41459802-F672-455B-BAFB-F353548913AD.jpeg84F91270-515C-458F-BB7E-D455A421000A.jpeg97A75ED2-6EDE-4A59-B570-2A0AA907DF2D.jpeg

Thanks, the guy dropped out of the deal not long after I started it. So, for now, it’s mine and just working on it on my free time. But it’ll go months without being touched. I think it sat for a whole year at one point. Lol

I guess I need to get the thread caught up as I have made a bit of progress on this project. I’ll have to find time to do that and figure out how to list multiple pictures again. Lol. Aqualu doors need mounted and uppers need ordered.

You need to have a week end " barn raising" get that project jump started again. BBQ ribs chicken rice tea. Sure some members with skills could get that project going again. Fall leaves, mountains, friends.....

I know, right. Lol. R&D is the time consuming part. Once I get a few parts figured out that piece goes quick. Lol. I seem to change my kind some too. My dash is nothing like a typical Jeep. I did it once, changed it, didn’t like it and changed it again. Lol.
