Got out with the kid yesterday for a nice long drive part paved part dirt, that happened to end—oddly enough— at Dairy Queen.

No pic from Saturday, but we drove old Blue down to Helen, GA to eat lunch at a great Restaurant, Cowboys and Angels

Nice 220 mile round trip. No issues and lots of thumbs up!

Snapped this one for the other thread, but deemed it unworthy. Hope to get the axles all checked out in the next month, then it should be ready for a trail ride and will get a much better pic.

I am SO JEALOUS of all you guys that have garages that you can work in, big or all, lifts or not. I have a garage, I painted my first CJ8 in it. Jacked it up and put it against the wall, painted half. Jacked it up, put it against the other wall and finished it. Paint was tacky for days because nobody could tell me how to reduce/what hardener to use with Gillespie mild spec OD paint. 23 years later the garage is so packed with crap.

Pulled Blue out of the shop this morning to snap a quick picture.

It really BUGS me that the PO installed an antenna mount on the drivers side!!! WTF were they thinking???? No great way to correct this.

Man antenna placement kills me too. I think the biggest reason I just purchased that 82 is because it didn’t come with the radio and no one ever installed one therefore no antenna at all yet.
Maybe I’ll mount one in the windshield frame
