82 Scrambler Build

Good, good stuff right there! Here comes the well earned "Rock on Cowboy"!

You an A&P by chance?

I’m not an A&P unfortunately. That would be a nice thing to have though. We have a guy who visits the community and does a bunch of annuals.

Its actually a good thing you're not. Some of the things I do would cause an A&P to have a seizure. Ugga duggas for example.

Body work is coming along…a friend is helping get that done. As everyone knows, those aftermarket bodies need a lot of help to make them look and fit right. The sides are now straight, seams that should have been clean and straight are now, and everything is fitting together as well as a Jeep should.

Here is the latest. Paint is on, a candy apple red that turned out pretty sweet. We painted on the Scrambler for the hood as well. once all the bits are reassembled I’ll start….everything else.

Nice work, Skywagon! I like the 180 in the background. I've got thousands of hours flying 180/185/206 seaplanes in Alaska, having lived in Petersburg as a teenager. I'm also an A&P/IA so I appreciate the level of work you've put into the build. And, that color is perfect for the Scrambler. Kudos.
