Just FYI that we finally worked through some updates on the back end of the forum software AND apparently got things finally situated where we can accept the ginormous photos from newer phones without issue.
There's now a dark version of our theme. You can use the regular or dark or have it follow your computer/device's setting. There's a small half-shaded circle in the bottom left of your window that controls that setting.
To think about where cameras were when we started this forum in 2002 and now with everyone walking around with a 48MP+ camera in their pocket that shoots single photos that wouldn't fit on BOXES of floppy discs and can post them instantly on here... DAMN.
I want to thank all of you who continue to support this forum staying alive. This software, our hosting setup and our software help all cost money and the only way that we continue to exist in this hellish InstaMetaFaceXThreadTok social media world is all of you who see the value in the easily-searched, nicely organized, long-term knowledge here and the very reasonable discussions that we share about these Jeeps that we love.
It's STILL far less than the cost of one tank of gas per YEAR to help keep all of this going. We STILL don't cripple the free accounts that so many people enjoy because we feel it's more important to have people participate here and become part of the CJ-8.com family than it is to make money. While this site isn't technically a non-profit, that's exactly how Matt and I have always looked at it and treated it including rejecting literally DOZENS of lucrative offers to buy this site to fold into the monstrous ad-serving megacompanies that sucked up all of the good forums over the years, summarily destroying each and every one of them.
If you're still reading this and you're not a paid, supporting member, please consider changing that to ensure this place is around for all of us...
