Sorry this post is so spread out. The rear springs with the Rocky road mount appear to be fine the front is my question.
If I run the Rocky road set up (stock configuration) I will need to rebuild a spring mount or does anyone know of an aftermarket mount that could be welded or bolted in the proper location. Where would the proper location be?
The reverse shackle rear mount. Looking for any suggestions.

It looks like you need adapter shackles from 2” to the 2.5” springs. There are several brands probably, I have them on mine from Rubicon Express. It looks like they’d work at the rear the same as they do at the front of the spring.
Rubicon Express RE2785 is what you want, but it looks like it’s not available any longer from them.

Barnes, RuffStuff, many other companies make a spring hanger for a Yj spring you can weld on, if you decide to go back.

Cool thanks. I think I'll run that winch plate. It has ears that go down the side of the frame that will replace the shims that were installed for thr reverse shackle. The spring hanger is just what I need if I decide to run the non reverse shackle set up. Since the original hanger has already been removed and a sleeve welded in the frame I will probably try the reverse shackle set up first. I will contact Mountain Off-road to get some shackle info. If that leads down a rabbit hole then I can go back and weld on the hanger you suggest.I have that winch kit on mine as well.

What shackle info do you need?
Frame width to spring width is usually done with a spacer to spring width. Think a 1/4" thick washer on each side.

Note they have may offsets. It's called an offset shackle. Can get them in offset and dogleg, if your SRS is set to CJ spring lengths.
And yes, way back in the day, I had their SRS and that Warn winch plate on my 86 CJ7. I replaced the MORE SRS spacer plates with the Warn winch mount side plates.

If you decided to go back to shackle forward, there are also front CJ shackle hangers that bolt on, that are for YJ springs.
My Silver CJ8 has these in the front, that clear the rivets and steering box, and are YJ width:
With the spring hanger I linked, you'd be pretty factory looking.

My main concern is the sleeve that is welded in for the reverse shackle is 1" ID. To install a poly 
bushing then a sleeve it won't leave much of a bolt. It appears the original set up didn't use a inner sleeve so it was 1/2 bolt through poly bushing also the poly bushing would have to have large flange to make up for width of YJ spring compare to CJ frame width.

I agree with your observation. To add to that when measuring from front of frame to sleeve they are not equal 1/2" different. That's why going back to original (shackles in front) might be the way to go. I could just by pass these and weld on new hangers. The old hangers that were removed I assume were attached with two large rivets. I can see the torch marks.

After input from members and my own pee brain I decided to remove the reverse shackle and go back to a more original configuration. So basically what I'm building is a Rocky Road YJ kit with OMU HD springs. Now the PO had removed the factory rear front spring mounts. One of the members had suggested WFO mounts and my god they don't screw around. Nice choice a question is to mount/weld these mounts in the proper location does any one have a measurement from eye to eye?
