Do repeat valve problems mean I'm pushing my 6cyl engine too hard!?

My last CJ7 had 258/t176, 31" tires, 3.31 gears and had plenty of power also. Was a soft top Jeep it entire life no added armor/bumpers. With alot of added weight, I would have wanted better gears for sure.

    Re-gearing/Axle swap

I would keep my eye open for a used set of better geared axles. Does the set you found have 1 piece axles? Good chance if you found a set of axles that have been regeared, good chance it would have 1 piece axles swapped in. The 3.31 gear are most likely stock gears with original parts inside...

I agree that different gearing could certainly help.

    $25 7" H4 Headlight Upgrade Kit

I might grab a set for my CJ and my LJ at that price. I would hope the wiring harnesses are better than cheap ebay/Amazon harnesses since they are coming from Toyota How does the wiring look, cheap harnesses look like decent gauge wiring but usually is skinny wire with alot of insulation.

    Snowplow for 1981 Scrambler

I doubt anybody still makes a new one for CJ's. If they did, expect to pay over $4000. Unless it was a homeowner version. There are homeowner light duty ones that fit into 2" receivers. No power angle. Do the blower motor upgrade and make sure your heater core is flowing good and you will...

    Snowplow for 1981 Scrambler

Maybe the easiest shipping and maybe the cheapest would be using Fastenal store to store. Third Party Logistics https://share.google/lD9OGgI5eZE5zNdR1 I plowed with my first CJ8. Still have the setup and a spare pump. Not for sale but I see setups for sale with a huge price swing...
