I have a completely good running, rebuilt 258 with 0.030 overbore, mild cam, and hedders and a crappy 1bbl carb. i'm going back to a MC2100. problem is the only MC2100 i have left on my shelf is 1.21 venturi. Is it possible to convert that carb to 1.08 or is that built into the body of the carb ?

If you have a MC2100 / 1.21 are the venturis something that can be changed/swapped ? Haven rebuilt a carb in over 35 years but about to tackle a MC2100 with 1.21 for my rebuilt, 258 with a 0.030 overbore and a mild cam and Headman Headers. ???

I have my Scrambler for 13 years, an '81, 360 w/Edlebrock 4bbl, T-176, Dana 300, 31" tires with 4" lift and Warn 8274. Now I'm building as a frame off resto-mod, my wife's which is an '85. She will have to have an automatic trans. Very little lift...I'm swapping out my 356 axles for her 411's...

I saw a write up about how to remove an ignition lock cylinder but cannot find it now. My '81 has dropped some lugs or something and I cannot get key back in it. Anyone know where this thread might be? PLMK, Thanks, Drew

If you don't readily see it hanging out, maybe it was stuffed back in the loom, open your wire loom and locate the brown single wire with the connector on it, if it's been cut off, put another connector on it, just make sure it will reach the motor. Way to make sure you've got the correct wire...

I'm running the half hard top. It's cold here now so I've modified my soft uppers to fit under my half hardtop. Had to cut the frame and re-bend it to fit and now having an upholstery shop modify the fabric to fit neatly under the drip rail around the door. I'll post up some pix when it's...

What are people doing for wider flares on a CJ8? (4" - 6" or so) I do not want to cut up my Scrambler for a set of flares but there must be another solution. I've tried YJ, Xenon, Bushwacker and nothing seems to fit without modifying my tub, unless I'm not looking at this right. Thanks, Drew
