As far as the A/C goes, a used under dash should be fine as long as it is in good shape. I’d want to test the blower and see if the evap holds vacuum.

I’d go with a new compressor, condenser, and drier though.

I believe they do, I think it’s actually the same as for a 350. But My memory is a bit foggy on this one.

That engine would be as slow as a wet week with a slush box I'd bet

I have been curious about this, and can not find a listed flexplate for a GM A/T transmission.

I have my chassis close to being ready to install new brake lines. Starting from bare frame so I have no brake parts.

Totally Stainless makes a great hard line kit, if that’s what you’re looking for. As long as you’re keeping everything stock brake-wise. For flexible lines, I’ve always been partial to stainless, especially the DOT approved poly coated stainless from Crown. (Not that Crown.) However, if you’re keeping everything relatively stock, OE style rubber lines from NAPA or your local parts store will work fine.
