Prepping for travel to see family, so it’s time to open my Secret Santa Gift!
It was quite the Haul!
Got a nice Scrambler Poster, a couple AMC Jeep Magnets, Jeep 4x4 shield, pocket knife and light combo, and a tin Jeep sign with a Scrambler on it.

Wow!!! I’ve never seen a flask with a straw!! What a great idea, especially on such a cool AMC flask!! A bottle of New Riff bourbon and Diplomatico Rum to use with my straw flask! A cool “Squatch Rated” badge! And a sick SOA/Scrambler tumbler!!

So, wow, what a haul... A FC and Comanche Hot Wheels, a multi-tool "TORX" screwdriver, a laser cut key ring, and best of all a custom Red Deer Jeep Packrats hat with my screen name and Scrambler embroidered on it. Thank you so much to my Canadian Secret Santa! And yes, the windshield is dirty, but too damn cold to wash the '8.

So it is absolutely freezing outside... In the garage... heat is not on.
My wife was nice enough to come out and snap a pic
I received a bunch of beers and a nice t-shirt from my secret (and somewhat local) Santa.
No way was I putting that t shirt on posing outside... also one of my kids stole it right after the photo shoot

NOTE: I realize there is no Scrambler in the picture. There is just my interpretive dance picture of a 1979 Silver Anniversary CJ5. I know there is also a tease picture of the scrambler truck In the background.

The gift I sent finally got where it was going, so I figured it was time to open the one I received. Thank you, Secret Santa!
I don't have a Scrambler in my photo either... but it is a Jeep, and CJ-8.com has always been pretty inclusive.
There are some great stickers for my tool box, a cool Sandblast key chain (an event which I honestly do hope to attend, someday), and three new HotWheels for my fleet!
The star of this show though, is the book: IT'S A JEEP THING - The Life and Adventures of a Disabled Jeeper! I absolutely love motivational non-fiction, and I'll likely have this one finished by the end of the year. I can't wait to get started.

Spent the weekend with my sons at the ranch. Got back in town this evening and had my Secret Santa gift sitting on our kitchen counter. My Secret Santa came through this year:
1st- one of the many Scrambler Hot Wheels I had not found
2nd- an awesome 200-Lumen emergency light- this is a much needed accessory for the ranch
3rd- a Jeep "Live Without Limits" (clearly whomever made the sign has not dealt with two-piece axles AMC20)- Will be proudly displayed in the workshop
4th- a pint of Virginia Lightning 100 Proof Corn Whiskey. This is going to be an item we will pass around the fire pit on New Years eve. I live in Virginia for awhile- this would appear to be a legal version of the moonshine we received as a gift from a neighbor.

Opened my Secret Santa gift today! WOW, he went over the top. A super cool Scrambler T-shirt, 1983 shop manual, Jeep keychain, Jeep sticker, AMC/Jeep dealer directory (print date of 11/1982), and my favorite was a Scrambler poster with all the good dimensions!!!
